Sale Away my Soul is an acrylic on wood panel painting, part of the Ūkaipō series - exploring those places or activities that restore and refresh our spiritual essence. The concept of Ūkaipō literally means 'nourishment by consuming the darkness in our life'. Sail Away my Soul is an expression of the infinite colours and ways in which our spirit can manifest itself despite the the restrictive and limiting forces in our social environment.
