Is it Well with your Soul? is a large acrylic on framed canvas painting, part of the Life’s Journey series. This painting is an expression of the complex process of Whaiwāhi Mauri Tau, a process of enhancing our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. It involves letting go of beliefs, thought patterns and anxieties that no longer serve you. It also involves surrendering to the protective and life enhancing forces within the universe (In Buddhism known as: shoten zenjin), allowing ourselves to discharge (let of steam) our hurt, pain and trauma and to follow the whai (stingray) when she guides us to healing waters (environments).
